Diversity and Inclusion

I was raised to value human differences and diversity in all its forms, including differences in background, identity, experience, and perspective. Throughout my career as an educator, I have worked with people from many different backgrounds. I believe that respect begins with recognizing the dignity of every individual. I also believe that one of the most fundamental forms of diversity is diversity of thought: the freedom to express ideas, debate openly, and disagree respectfully without intimidation.
